I’m a postdoctoral researcher at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, University of California, San Diego, where I work in the lab of Prof. J. Andrew McCammon. Prior to this, I studied Biophysics and Computational Biology at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, in the labs of Prof. Klaus Schulten and Prof. Emad Tajkhorshid.

My work involves developing and applying computational methods to study the structure, dynamics, and function of biological systems. One major focus is on computer-aided drug design targeting M. tuberculosis. You can find out more about my work here.

Apart from research, I also worked as a teaching assistant for the Theoretical and Computational Biology workshops and as an instructor for the summer institutes at the National Biomedical Computation Resource. Many of these events are organized annually, so feel free to check them out if you’re interested in a future computational biology workshop.
